Nursery & Reception
Welcome to Witney Community Primary School Early Years Foundation Stage
Within our EYFS, we have a Nursery class (Rainbow) for children aged 2-4 and a Reception class (Sunshine) for children aged 4-5.
The EYFS shares an outdoor area which both rooms have direct access to and we offer freeflow throughout the day. The outdoor area is a shared area.
The EYFS is run by teachers and Early Years Practitioners:
Mrs Emily Taylor: EYFS Team Leader and Teacher
Miss Donna McGowan: Nursery Manager
Mrs Helen Mellin: Nursery Nurse
Miss Bull and Mrs Skuse: Teaching Partners
Mrs Ridgway, Miss Connick, Miss Bull and Mrs Hambidge: Nursery Assistants
What makes the EYFS at Witney C P such a great place for children? The answer is that the team there knows that play is the DNA of childhood - they value it because they understand its powerful potential. Walk through the door and you will discover a treasure trove of creativity, choice and collaboration. It’s like a home for childhood itself
